Trump Announces Plan to Rebuild the Navy with Advanced Battleships
Palm Beach, FL – In a bold move aimed at revitalizing the United States Navy, President Donald Trump unveiled plans for a new class of battleships designed to ensure American dominance on the world’s oceans. Speaking from his Mar-a-Lago estate on Monday, the President declared the project a critical step in strengthening national defense and boosting the American shipbuilding industry.
Flanked by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of the Navy John Phelan, President Trump outlined his vision for what he called the “Golden Fleet.” The centerpiece of this fleet will be the “Trump-class” battleship, a vessel he claims will possess unprecedented power and technological capabilities.
“These ships will be the fastest, the biggest, and by far, more powerful than any battleship ever built,” President Trump stated, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a strong military presence in an increasingly uncertain world.
The President revealed that the concept for these advanced ships began during his first term in office. The designs call for all-steel vessels equipped with a range of cutting-edge weaponry, including guns, missiles, hypersonic weapons, and high-powered lasers. These technologies, integrated into a single platform, will provide the Navy with a versatile and formidable asset.
The first two ships are slated to begin construction immediately, with an estimated completion time of two and a half years. The Navy plans to expand the program, aiming for a fleet of up to 25 of these advanced battleships.
President Trump also presented renderings of the “Trump-class” battleship, showcasing its innovative design and technological integration. The ships are designed to be adaptable, allowing for the incorporation of new technologies as they become available.
This initiative comes at a time of heightened global tensions, with the President underscoring the need for a strong American presence to deter potential adversaries. The investment in a modern and powerful Navy is seen as a crucial element in safeguarding American interests and promoting stability around the world.
The last battleship built by the U.S. Navy was the USS Missouri, commissioned in 1944. This new project represents a significant commitment to modernizing the Navy and reaffirming America’s position as a leading maritime power. By investing in advanced technology and domestic shipbuilding, the President aims to create jobs and ensure the Navy remains a force to be reckoned with for generations to come.
