President-elect Donald Trump extended warm Thanksgiving wishes to all Americans, including those he refers to as “Radical Left Lunatics,” during a message shared on his Truth Social account. He reiterated his commitment to “Make America Great Again” as he prepares to take office on January 20, 2025.
In his Thanksgiving greeting, Trump expressed gratitude while taking a jab at his political opponents. He stated, “Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed.” He emphasized that the recent landslide victory was a clear message from the American people supporting a return to traditional values and strong leadership. Trump assured his supporters that soon America will be “respected, productive, fair, and strong,” promoting a sense of pride in being American.
Trump also shared a photograph of himself with law enforcement, further affirming his support for those who protect and serve the nation. Although it was not announced where he would be spending this year’s Thanksgiving, Trump has historically gathered with family and friends at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, famously dubbed the “Winter White House” during his first term.
As he prepares for his return to the White House, Trump has been forming his cabinet, having recently secured a decisive victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. His transition team is actively working to finalize key appointments, setting the stage for his administration to prioritize American interests.
However, the transition process has not been without challenges. Reports surfaced indicating that several of Trump’s Cabinet nominees faced serious threats aimed at their safety, prompting law enforcement responses to ensure their protection. Notable nominees included John Ratcliffe for CIA director and Pete Hegseth for secretary of defense, who were among those targeted.
As we approach this season of gratitude, Trump’s message reinforces his dedication to conservative principles and the goals he sets for his administration in the coming years.
