Homeland Security to Enforce Laws at Super Bowl
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has made it clear: immigration laws will be enforced at Super Bowl 60 in Santa Clara, California. Her statement comes amidst controversy surrounding the selection of Bad Bunny, a performer who has been critical of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In a recent interview, Noem emphasized the importance of ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all Super Bowl attendees. She stated that those attending should be law-abiding citizens who appreciate the values of our nation.
When questioned about Bad Bunny’s views on ICE, Noem expressed disagreement with the NFL’s choice. She affirmed her belief in American strength and values, suggesting that those who undermine these principles may ultimately face a reckoning.
Corey Lewandowski, a advisor, echoed Noem’s sentiment, stating that there will be no safe havens for individuals in the country illegally. He asserted that ICE will take action to find, detain, and deport those who are not abiding by the law.
