A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports shows that 52% of U.S. voters believe officials from former President Joe Biden’s administration should face criminal charges. This comes in light of accusations that aides may have used an autopen to forge Biden’s signature without his knowledge.
The survey indicates significant concern among voters about the mental sharpness of President Biden during his time in office. While 55% of respondents think his staff likely used the autopen for important documents, opinions vary. About 33% think this is unlikely, with some unsure if it occurred at all.
Looking at political party affiliations, the poll reveals that 75% of Republicans support prosecution for Biden’s staff, while only 36% of Democrats and 44% of unaffiliated voters share this view. Gender differences also emerge, with 60% of men expressing concern about the autopen’s use compared to 50% of women.
The poll results, which include responses from a diverse demographic, suggest that skepticism about Biden’s administration is widespread. Notably, 78% of Trump supporters believe there should be accountability, with 53% of those who voted for Vice President Kamala Harris also backing prosecution.
These findings reflect growing unease regarding the integrity of the Biden administration and highlight a call for transparency and accountability. As discussions continue, it seems many voters are eager for answers and action regarding this matter.
