The Harvard University Police Department got a call about a fire alarm at the Goldenson Building, which is part of the medical school, around 2:48 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st.
When police arrived, they saw two people running away from the building. They also found signs of an explosion on the fourth floor.
The fire department’s arson unit was called in, and they believe the explosion was intentional.
Luckily, no one was hurt. Police searched the building and didn’t find any other dangerous items.
Harvard University shared that the incident is under investigation and provided pictures of the two people they suspect were involved. They are asking anyone who recognizes them to contact the police.
The university is working with local, state, and federal law enforcement to investigate. The FBI is also helping with the investigation.
