Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has announced a plan to set aside land in South Florida for a future presidential library dedicated to the 45th and 47th President, Donald Trump. The proposed site is currently being used as a parking lot for Miami-Dade College. The location is considered ideal for its accessibility and visibility, allowing many people to visit and learn about President Trump’s time in office.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier also voiced his strong support for the proposal, emphasizing the importance of preserving and sharing the story of Donald Trump’s two presidential terms.
“This is a remarkable political story,” Uthmeier said. “Florida would be honored to house the library for one of our state’s own presidents and to be a part of such important history.”
