A woman’s body was discovered in a large cardboard box in the Arizona desert.
On September 5th, police got a call about a “suspicious package” in a remote desert area near Kingman. A person checking their property found the box and thought there was a dead person inside.
Detectives went to the scene and confirmed a deceased woman was in the box. They took fingerprints and identified her as Carolyn Ann Bosher, 57, who had been living in Las Vegas.
Someone at the scene said they saw a car with its trunk open in the area the night before, but it was too dark to identify the car.
Police in Mohave County contacted Las Vegas police and learned that Bosher had been arrested for indecent exposure in Las Vegas the week before, on August 30th.
Officials don’t think Bosher was killed where her body was found.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating and asks anyone with information to call them at 928-753-0753 and mention case number DR# 25-033587.
