A 22-year-old woman in England was arrested after trying to mock the police by commenting “Hey guys” on her own wanted poster. This unusual event happened on Friday, January 31, when Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shared her wanted notice on social media.
According to police, the woman’s cheeky comment led officers to take action. They found her hiding under a pile of children’s toys in a room on Platt Lane in Fallowfield, where she was arrested.
The woman is suspected of failing to appear in court for multiple offenses, including assaulting emergency workers, drug-related crimes, and theft. She was also arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer and is currently in custody for further questioning.
Local detective inspector Natalie McDonald praised the quick response of her team and thanked the public for helping police locate the woman. She mentioned that police in Manchester are actively working to arrest those who are wanted.
