After being voted off “Dancing with the Stars,” Whitney Leavitt, known for her role in “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” didn’t hold back in expressing her feelings. Leavitt and her dance partner, Mark Ballas, had a chance to perform their planned final dance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
Their performance was meant to be a response to the negativity they faced during the show. Ballas even shared some of the nasty messages he received, highlighting the intense criticism that can come with being in the public eye.
Leavitt mentioned that she’s grown somewhat used to the negativity because of her experience with reality TV. She also felt bad that Ballas was experiencing such hate for the first time, especially since she wondered if she was to blame.
Even though they were voted off, Leavitt expressed gratitude for her time on the show and the friendships she made, particularly with Ballas. She also suggested that her past on “Mormon Wives” might have affected the voting. Ballas pointed out that with so much talent on the show, voter preferences can be unpredictable.
