Tyrese Gibson, known for his role in the “Fast & Furious” movies, is facing legal trouble. Police have issued an arrest warrant for him because his dogs are accused of killing a neighbor’s dog in Georgia.
The neighbor, Harrison Parker, said his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was attacked in his yard on September 18. He found the dog dead shortly after. Doorbell camera footage reportedly shows Gibson’s dogs after the attack.
Parker’s dog, named Henry, was only 5 years old. He suffered serious injuries, including internal bleeding. Parker described Henry as a sweet dog and said it was awful to find him dead.
Police went to Gibson’s house on September 22 with a search warrant, but he wasn’t there. It’s been reported that Gibson said he would give his dogs to Animal Services, but he was gone when authorities arrived.
Officials say Gibson’s large Cane Corso dogs were running loose in the neighborhood. They claim the dogs attacked the smaller spaniel.
A police official, Capt. Nicole Dwyer, said it was irresponsible of Gibson to let his dogs roam free, resulting in the death of an innocent animal.
Gibson posted a video on Instagram showing his dogs playing.
