Police in Sweden have announced that at least 11 people have lost their lives following a tragic shooting at an adult education center in Örebro. The incident occurred on February 4, prompting a swift response from local authorities.
On February 5, the Swedish Police Authority released a statement confirming the death toll from the shootings that took place at Campus Risbergska. Reports indicate that gunfire erupted shortly after 12:30 p.m. local time on that day.
Authorities believe the shooter has died along with the victims and indicated that the suspect acted alone without any ideological motives. Local police chief Roberto Eid Forest described the situation as “incredibly tragic,” expressing sympathy for the victims and their families.
While the current tally stands at 11 deceased, the number of injuries remains uncertain. However, police later reported that six patients are being treated in the hospital, with all stable after surgery.
