## Man Arrested for Threatening Conservative Commentator
A California man is facing federal charges after allegedly sending a threatening letter to conservative commentator Benny Johnson. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the arrest of George Russell Isbell Jr., 69, at a press conference, highlighting the seriousness with which the Justice Department is treating the case.
Isbell is accused of mailing a letter to Johnson’s home in Tampa, Florida, containing disturbing threats and hateful language. The letter contained vile language. It went on to say that Johnson and others should be “exterminated.” The writer even referenced a photo of Johnson with the American flag, hoping the flag would strangle him. Most alarmingly, the letter expressed a desire to see Johnson’s “head explode.”
