Diddy’s Defense Team Questions Witness in Ongoing Legal Battle
During a recent court session, the defense team for Sean “Diddy” Combs challenged witness Bryana Bongolan over claims related to an alleged incident involving Diddy and Cassie Ventura. This incident reportedly took place on September 26, 2016.
Bongolan, who worked on the Bad Boy Reunion tour back in September 2016, struggled to recall specifics about Diddy and Cassie’s travel schedule. When asked if Diddy was present at a performance in New Jersey the day before, Bongolan could not confirm. The defense attorney, Westmoreland, presented documents to help jog her memory, but she remained unsure about the couple’s whereabouts.
Notably, the jury was presented with a receipt from Trump International Tower, under the alias “Mr. Frank Black.” This receipt listed a stay from September 24 to September 29, 2016, with charges indicating that Diddy ordered in-room dining on September 26, the same day as the alleged incident.
Westmoreland emphasized that one person cannot be in two locations simultaneously, a claim Bongolan acknowledged in theory, though she hesitated to make a definitive statement.
The defense also questioned Bongolan about the injuries she claimed were inflicted by Diddy, asserting that her evidence did not substantiate that claim. Bongolan provided a photo of her injury, affirming it was taken on the same date as the alleged incident.
The tension grew as Westmoreland suggested that Bongolan was not telling the truth, but Bongolan stood her ground, asserting she could not agree.
As this case unfolds, it raises important questions regarding the reliability of witness testimony and evidence, pivotal in determining the truth behind these serious allegations.
