Hollywood Director Says Modern Movies Lack Quality
Ridley Scott, the famous director behind movies like “Gladiator” and “Alien,” recently shared his thoughts on today’s film industry. He believes that many of the movies being made now simply aren’t very good.
Scott pointed out that there are countless movies being produced, but the overall quality seems to be declining. He even admitted that he sometimes watches his own older films because he finds them more entertaining than what’s currently in theaters.
He mentioned watching “Black Hawk Down” and being impressed with his own work. Scott hopes that talented filmmakers will continue to emerge and create truly great movies.
Scott’s career began in the 1970s, and he quickly became known for his science fiction films like “Alien” and “Blade Runner.” He later directed successful movies in other genres, including “Gladiator,” which won the Best Picture Academy Award in 2001.
