Savannah Chrisley is adjusting to her younger brother Grayson starting college. In a recent episode of her podcast, “Unlocked,” titled “Grayson’s Bama Adventures,” the 27-year-old reality star spoke with her 18-year-old brother after his first month at the University of Alabama.
During their chat, Savannah expressed her disappointment with Grayson’s dorm décor, feeling it didn’t meet her high standards for style. Grayson humorously shared how his big sister frequently took him on shopping trips to Target to help him prepare for college life.
Savannah playfully questioned Grayson about his readiness for college, to which he confidently replied that he was “overly prepared.” She made sure he had space for all his snacks, which drew a smile from her.
While Grayson appreciated his sister’s help, he noted that his dorm felt a bit cramped because of all the extra furniture she had bought. He remarked that most of his friends didn’t have such elaborate setups, suggesting they were just fine without it.
Savannah insisted that every item she brought had its purpose, particularly for storage under Grayson’s bed. She referred to the dorm furniture as “disgusting,” prompting Grayson to defend it, saying it wasn’t that bad. Still, Savannah felt the need to add some personal touches, like wallpaper, to improve the look.
Despite the joking around, Grayson teased his sister for going “a little overboard” on the dorm decorations. Savannah comically stated that college dorms could use an upgrade and quipped, “We need to make dorms great again!” Grayson retorted, questioning whether they had ever been great in the first place.
This isn’t the first instance of Savannah showing concern about her brother’s transition to college. She previously expressed her worries about him managing day-to-day tasks. However, by January, Savannah’s sentiment had shifted, as she shared on social media how proud she was of Grayson, even admitting that she felt emotional seeing her “best friend” head off to school.
