Glen Powell, the actor known for “Top Gun: Maverick,” recently shared a funny story from the set of his new movie, “The Running Man.” He talked about a scene where he had to rappel down a building while wearing very little clothing – just a towel and a small pouch.
Powell explained that he didn’t realize people were working inside the building and could see him. His co-star, Josh Brolin, joked about the crew getting quite a view.
In “The Running Man,” Powell plays a father trying to earn money for his sick daughter by participating in a dangerous reality show.
Powell said he initially thought the nearly-naked scene was funny, but he regretted it when he had to film it in cold weather in Bulgaria.
Powell had a breakthrough role in “Top Gun: Maverick” with Tom Cruise. He also starred in “Hit Man” and “Anyone But You.” After “Anyone But You,” there were rumors about him and his co-star, Sydney Sweeney, but Sweeney denied any romantic involvement.
“The Running Man” is scheduled to be released in theaters soon.
