A new true crime podcast titled What Happened to Holly Bobo? is set to launch, delving into the tragic case of Holly Bobo, a nursing student who was kidnapped and murdered in Tennessee in 2011. The podcast, produced by ABC Audio and 20/20, will premiere on May 6 and will be hosted by GMA3 co-anchor Eva Pilgrim.
This six-episode series promises to reveal previously unheard audio from an interview with Holly’s brother, Clint Bobo, shortly after her disappearance. The case gained massive attention after Holly vanished from her home, with her remains discovered three years later near the home of Zach Adams, who was ultimately convicted in her murder.
The investigation remains controversial, with Zach Adams’ attorney challenging the credibility of a key witness, Jason Autry. Although several individuals have been convicted, ongoing discussions about the case highlight the lingering questions surrounding what happened to Holly.
Holly Bobo disappeared on April 13, 2011. Her brother reported seeing her walk into the woods near their home. It wasn’t until September 2014 that her body was found. In 2017, Zach Adams was sentenced to life in prison without parole for his role in the crime, while his brother, John Adams, received a 35-year sentence for his involvement.
As the case unfolds in this podcast, it aims to provide deeper insights into this heartbreaking story and the ongoing dialogue about justice in Holly’s name. The first episode will be available on May 6.
