Model Brooks Nader recently shared that she is still using weight-loss drugs, even after her sisters expressed their concern. On her reality TV show, “Love Thy Nader,” viewers saw her sisters confronting her about her use of GLP-1 medications after they found a collection of needles.
Nader admitted that she knows these drugs aren’t good for her, but she feels like she needs them. She mentioned that many people have told her they also feel dependent on these kinds of medications but are embarrassed to talk about it.
She said that a client once told her she needed to lose weight, and she believes that using GLP-1 medications has helped her career. Nader clarified that she is aware that it might not be the best approach, but it has led to her booking more jobs.
Her sisters became worried about her health after an incident during an exercise class where she nearly fainted. They found a basket full of needles and bottles of the drug, leading them to believe she might be overusing the medication and seeing multiple doctors to get it.
Nader acknowledged that she needs to take better care of her health, but she has chosen to continue using the medication. She believes her sisters are coming from a place of love and concern, but she feels they don’t fully understand her situation.
