A Florida man picked the wrong house to enter when he found himself face-to-face with a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter.
Henny Rojas, who hopes to become a professional fighter, was at his home in Wilton Manors on September 27th when a stranger walked in. Rojas’ nephew was also home at the time and saw the man enter the living room.
Rojas told a local news station that he doesn’t like using weapons. He said he defended his home with his bare hands.
The intruder was identified by police as 31-year-old Austin Carasani. According to reports, Carasani told police he had been drinking and was trying to find a friend’s house in the area, but went to the wrong place.
A neighbor said he saw the fight and that Carasani was hurt. A police photo shows Carasani with cuts and bruises on his face.
Rojas said he was ready to protect his family and would do it again if he had to.
Carasani is currently in jail with bail set at $20,000.
