Jennifer Lopez recently shared a story about a movie role she turned down, and it’s something she still thinks about.
The actress said she had the chance to be in the movie “Unfaithful” back in 2002. She decided not to take the part, and Diane Lane ended up getting the role. Lane’s performance was so good that she was nominated for an Oscar.
Lopez talked about this during an interview. She said that the director, Adrian Lyne, offered her the role, but she didn’t think the script was very good at first. Later, he improved it.
Diane Lane starred in the movie with Richard Gere. She played a married woman who has an affair. Her acting was widely praised, and she received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
Lopez said that she wonders why she turned down the chance to work with Adrian Lyne. She doesn’t remember exactly what she was thinking at the time.
Lane ultimately lost the Oscar to Nicole Kidman.
Lopez also mentioned who she thinks is the best actor she’s kissed on screen. She said it’s Brett Goldstein, who she worked with in a new movie called “Office Romance.” Goldstein also wrote the script for the movie.
