Josh Hartnett, the actor known for roles in “Pearl Harbor” and “Black Hawk Down,” was recently involved in a car accident in Canada.
According to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, a police vehicle collided with an SUV in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Hartnett, who was a passenger in the SUV, and the driver were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The police officer involved was also checked out as a precaution.
The incident is currently under investigation, with authorities seeking witnesses and any available video footage.
A representative for Hartnett stated that he has already been released from the hospital, has returned home and is back to work. He’s currently in Canada filming a new Netflix project about a fisherman protecting his family from a sea creature.
Hartnett had stepped away from the Hollywood spotlight for a while, citing concerns about excessive attention. He mentioned incidents of stalking and unwanted attention, emphasizing his desire to protect his personal life. He made a comeback with a role in “Oppenheimer.”
Hartnett has mentioned that having a family has shifted his focus. He values the importance of family and community. He has four children with his wife, Tamsin Egerton, and keeps their lives private. Hartnett has stated that a stable family life is essential for him to thrive both personally and professionally.
