New reports are raising questions about Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, and her connections to the late Jeffrey Epstein.
Leaked emails suggest that Ferguson, along with her daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, visited Epstein shortly after his release from jail in 2009. Epstein had served time for soliciting a minor for prostitution.
According to these emails, Epstein claimed Ferguson “was the first” to celebrate his release with her daughters.
A source told People that Eugenie and Beatrice never met Epstein. Another source told The Telegraph that neither Ferguson nor her daughters remember visiting Epstein after his release from jail.
The emails also reportedly show Ferguson asking Epstein for money. She allegedly requested a loan to help with bills.
These revelations come after Ferguson has already faced scrutiny for calling Epstein a “supreme friend” in other leaked emails. Several charities have since ended their relationships with her.
A representative for Ferguson told The Guardian that she stands by her public condemnation of Epstein. They said she was misled by his lies and cut off contact as soon as she learned of the allegations against him.
Prince Andrew has also stepped back from royal duties due to his association with Epstein. He has denied any wrongdoing.
