Chuck Norris, the well-known actor, is mourning the loss of his ex-wife, Dianne Holechek. She passed away at the age of 84 after struggling with dementia.
Norris, age 85, shared his feelings with the public, saying he was very sad to announce Dianne’s passing. He explained that even though they divorced after being married for 30 years, they stayed good friends. Those years of friendship were very important to him.
He remembered Dianne as a wonderful person, describing her as kind and smart, and someone who enjoyed life. He said she would always be remembered and was a loving mother to their sons, Mike and Eric, who were her greatest joy.
Norris also mentioned that even though they went their separate ways, they continued to care for each other. He said he would always treasure the memories they made together.
Dianne Holechek passed away peacefully in her Texas home after battling dementia for some time, according to their son Mike Norris.
Chuck and Dianne first met while in high school in California. They married in 1958 when they were still teenagers. Together, they had two sons: Mike and Eric Norris, who used to be a NASCAR driver.
Norris has said that his time serving in the Air Force caused him to be away from home a lot. This led to him being unfaithful, which eventually caused the divorce. The couple officially divorced in 1989 after being married for 30 years.
Norris later remarried Gena O’Kelley in 1998.
