Chris Hemsworth, the well-known star of the Avengers, recently shared a delightful glimpse into his family’s skiing adventure. The 41-year-old actor posted a fun video on Instagram, capturing special moments from their snowy getaway. The video, set to the upbeat tune of "The Keepers" by Santigold, starts with Hemsworth filming himself aboard an airplane, then transitions to stunning views of snow-covered landscapes.
The heartwarming montage features family photos and videos of his kids showcasing their impressive skiing skills, executing flips and jumps with remarkable ease. Among these clips, viewers can spot a charming picture of Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, striking a pose in their ski gear.
In the caption, Hemsworth humorously remarked, "Another ski trip where the kids continue to make me feel like I don’t belong on the mountain 😂."
Since marrying Pataky in 2010, the couple has welcomed three children: daughter India Rose, 12, and 10-year-old twin boys, Sasha and Tristan. While both Hemsworth and Pataky enjoy their high-profile careers, they remain committed to giving their children a grounded upbringing.
Hemsworth has expressed his desire for his kids to appreciate the value of hard work and not take their fortunate circumstances for granted. Reflecting on his upbringing, he stated, "I grew up with very little money, but my parents were my absolute heroes." He aims to instill similar values in his children, emphasizing that true success comes from character and effort, not just material wealth.
As proud parents, Hemsworth and Pataky allow their children to explore their own interests, including dabbling in the entertainment industry. Two of their kids even appeared alongside Hemsworth in the movie Thor: Love & Thunder. Their love for acting was further highlighted when they praised their father’s impressive stunt work in his recent film, Extraction 2.
Later this year, the twins joined their parents at the Australian premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and the whole family attended Hemsworth’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, though India chose not to participate in the photos.
In his acceptance speech, Hemsworth spoke fondly of his children, saying, “My kids are endlessly inspiring for so many reasons. Their ability to live in the moment and to dive into life head first is a constant reminder of what life is all about.”
This family outing not only showcases the joy of spending time together but also emphasizes the importance of values and experiences over material success.
