Brandi Glanville recently shared insights about her co-parenting experience with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. On her podcast, “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered,” she revealed that she spent Christmas at Cibrian’s house, emphasizing the importance of her children celebrating the holidays with both parents.
Glanville and Cibrian were married from 2001 to 2009 and have two sons, Mason, 21, and Jake, 17. During the holiday season, Glanville felt that being with her children at Cibrian’s home—where he lives with his current wife, LeAnn Rimes—was essential. She expressed her deep love for her sons, stating that she would do anything for them.
“I chose to go there for Christmas because of my kids,” she explained. Glanville talked about the joy of being with her children and their extended family during the season, instead of spending it alone.
Despite facing criticism for her choices, Glanville stood firm, saying, “I put my kids first.” She feels proud of how she has managed her relationship with Cibrian since their split and emphasizes the need for family unity, especially around special occasions.
Glanville reflected on the difficulties of having divided celebrations, insisting that having separate holidays is not beneficial for children. She believes it can confuse them and create unnecessary stress.
She also noted that despite any uncomfortable feelings, her priority is her sons’ happiness. At Cibrian’s house, she felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere during Christmas, which she described as “lovely.”
Glanville shared a heartfelt post on social media the day after Christmas, thanking Cibrian and Rimes for hosting the family gathering. She expressed her gratitude for the love shared among their modern family.
In earlier discussions about being a single mom, Glanville conveyed that her sons often navigate two very different lifestyles due to the disparities in their parents’ financial situations. This contrast sometimes brings her to tears. Yet, she praised her sons for being sweet and respectful, calling it a blessing that they understand the value of hard work and empathy.
