The video featured Trace, who had expressed deep worries about his father’s current state. In his video caption, Billy Ray shared his gratitude for the rain in California and prayed for healing within his family, affirming that the past does not dictate the future.
Billy Ray, who adopted Trace and his sister Brandi after marrying their mother Tish in 1992, has had a tumultuous family life, including the births of Miley, Braison, and Noah Cyrus before their divorce in 2022. He is also the father of Christopher from a previous relationship.
