Tyga’s mother, Pasionaye Nicole Nguyen, sadly passed away at the age of 53. The rapper shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, just a month after her death on January 18.
In his emotional post, Tyga expressed his struggle to understand why such wonderful people are taken from us. “I been trying to understand and process why God takes the most meaningful and most beautiful people away from us,” Tyga wrote. He spoke of the emptiness in his heart and how he couldn’t imagine life without her support. He added, “I would trade anything just to be able to be with you again. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.”
Tyga looked forward to the day they would be together again, saying, “I’ll see you soon and save me a spot right next to you in paradise.” He concluded with a promise to celebrate her memory with every moment he has left.
He also shared a touching post that featured photos of them together over the years, including a video of his mother with a new Chanel bag and scenes from a birthday celebration. One of the final moments in the tribute included a recording of Pasionaye expressing her pride in him, reminding him how much she loved him and how proud she was of his achievements.
Reflecting on their relationship, Tyga mentioned in a past interview how important it was for him to ensure a good upbringing for his son, King Cairo, stating that his mother always prioritized his happiness during their upbringing, often shielding him from her own struggles.
Tyga’s reflections shed light on the lasting bond he shared with his mother and the immense impact she had on his life.
