Todd Chrisley Expresses Concerns Over Savannah’s Appearance on ‘The Masked Singer’
Todd Chrisley recently shared his feelings about his daughter Savannah’s participation in the reality show "The Masked Singer." During a candid interview, Todd joked about being too "embarrassed" to watch her performance, revealing that he feels she lacks singing talent.
The interview, which featured Todd, 56, his wife Julie, 52, and Savannah, 27, aired as part of an ABC News special. They discussed their lives after being granted presidential pardons following imprisonment.
As the conversation shifted to Savannah’s time on "The Masked Singer," Todd admitted he couldn’t bring himself to view her performance. Savannah was eliminated shortly after her debut. "I missed ‘The Masked Singer’ because I was embarrassed for her," Todd quipped, prompting laughter from the group.
Savannah herself acknowledged her poor performance, saying, “Yeah, I was awful.” Nevertheless, Todd praised her willingness to participate, stating, “I guess the beautiful part of that was that she went and did that, and she didn’t care how bad she was.”
The family expressed their gratitude for Savannah, who played a significant role in supporting her younger siblings while her parents were away. Todd emphasized the unusual situation, stating, “A child should not have to take care of their parents. It’s the parents’ job to take care of the child.”
Julie added that it was unfortunate Savannah had to put her own life on hold to care for her siblings, noting, “It’s not her job to raise them.”
Savannah, who has been the primary breadwinner for the family during tough times, started a podcast called "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley" in 2022 and has appeared on various reality shows since her parents’ legal troubles began.
Looking ahead, Todd announced that his family is working on a new reality series for Lifetime to document their transition back to normal life after prison. The Chrisleys, who were previously convicted of tax evasion and other charges, received pardons from former President Donald Trump in May, allowing them to start fresh.
