Snoop Dogg is standing by his daughter, Cori, after a heartbreaking loss.
Cori, 26, shared news of her 10-month-old daughter Codi’s passing. She posted a photo on Instagram with the words, “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.”
Snoop Dogg, 54, showed his support by sharing a photo of himself with Cori and his sons, Corde and Cordell, simply captioning it with hearts and a prayer emoji.
Cori had announced she was expecting her first child with her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, in December 2024. In February 2025, she shared that their daughter was born early.
“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote, expressing her emotions about the premature birth but also thanking God for His support. Baby girl came at 25 weeks.
In September, Cori revealed that her daughter had been in the NICU for six months, acknowledging the challenges of being a NICU mom.
Last month, Cori shared the joyous news that they were finally able to bring their baby girl home, thanking everyone for their prayers and love.
Cori and Wayne got engaged in November 2022 and had planned to marry in 2024, but their plans were delayed after Cori suffered a stroke in January 2024.
Snoop Dogg has previously expressed his support for his daughter’s relationship with Wayne, noting that he knows Wayne will take care of her. He has spoken emotionally about his daughter’s journey.
