Hollywood’s Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are calling it quits after many years together. The actress had hinted at life’s unexpected turns in a recent interview, not long before filing for divorce.
In a magazine article released just before the news broke, Kidman reflected on how life often takes us in directions we don’t foresee. It seems she may have been hinting at the changes happening in her own life.
Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban in early October, citing “marital difficulties.” The couple’s separation became public at the end of September.
Following the announcement, Kidman has been seen at public events and shared social media posts, including one thanking the magazine team for her cover shoot. She also recently attended Paris Fashion Week with her daughters, sporting a new hairstyle.
Court documents reveal that Kidman listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, with the date of separation marked as Sept. 30.
While the news may surprise some, sources say that those close to the couple were not completely shocked. Some reports suggest they had been living separate lives for some time. Kidman and Urban met in 2005 and were married in 2006. Their most recent public appearance together was earlier this year.
