Kaley Cuoco, known for her role as Penny on “The Big Bang Theory,” recently shared a story about a beauty treatment gone wrong.
During a podcast appearance, Cuoco, 40, talked about getting Botox injections in her forehead before realizing it would affect her acting. She was excited about the procedure but quickly learned it wasn’t ideal for her job.
“I did my forehead, and I was so excited,” Cuoco said. But she soon realized she couldn’t move her forehead during a scene, which made her acting look unnatural.
“I could not move [it],” she admitted. “I was like literally doing these jokes and nothing moved.”
This experience led her to reconsider her beauty routine. “That’s when I thought, ‘Whoa..let’s calm it down,’” she added. “So I reined it in and now I don’t do my forehead.”
Despite this mishap, Cuoco still uses Botox in other areas, like around her eyes and neck. She mentioned that she’s always had lines on her neck that bothered her, so she gets them filled to smooth them out.
Cuoco has been open about her cosmetic procedures in the past, including breast augmentation. She told one magazine that getting breast implants was “the best decision I ever made,” boosting her confidence.
She also mentioned having a nose job and doesn’t regret any of her choices. Cuoco believes that while inner beauty is important, wanting to look good is also valid, as long as it makes you feel confident and you’re doing it for yourself.
