A man has been arrested for allegedly causing damage to the office of Alina Habba, who is currently the acting U.S. Attorney.
Keith Michael Lisa, 51, was arrested, according to the FBI. The arrest follows an incident on November 12 at the Peter W. Rodino Federal Building in Newark, N.J. The FBI said Lisa tried to enter the building with a bat, but was turned away. He then came back inside without the bat and went to Habba’s office, where he damaged property.
After the incident, a warrant was issued for Lisa’s arrest on November 13. He is being charged with having a dangerous weapon in a federal building and damaging federal property.
Pam Bondi, commented on the arrest, praising the FBI, U.S. Marshals, and Department of Homeland Security for finding Lisa. Habba also shared her thanks on social media, saying she was grateful to the agencies that helped capture him.
Alina Habba was appointed as acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey in March. Before that, she was part of Trump’s legal team and also worked as his personal lawyer.
