Hollywood Veteran Kelsey Grammer Voices Concerns About Los Angeles Leadership
Kelsey Grammer, the well-known actor, recently shared his complicated feelings about Los Angeles, where he’s lived since the early 1980s. While he acknowledges a certain affection for the city, he’s also critical of its current leadership.
In a recent interview, Grammer mentioned that his initial impression of Los Angeles wasn’t positive. However, he’s remained there for four decades. He described it as an “unlikely love affair,” admitting he’s not entirely enthusiastic about the city but still appreciates it.
Grammer didn’t hold back his views on the people in charge, stating that “nincompoops” are running things. He expressed hope that he and his family can maintain a positive environment despite the challenges.
Grammer has been vocal about his conservative political views, particularly concerning Los Angeles and California. He previously pointed to what he sees as mismanagement in fire prevention as a significant issue.
He noted that the devastating fires in the region highlighted a shift in Los Angeles politics, which he attributes to failures in office. Grammer, who once housed people displaced by the fires, expressed sadness over the loss of life and property.
Currently, Grammer is starring in a new movie called “Turbulence,” a survival thriller where he plays a hot-air balloon operator. He compared the character to one he played in the past, noting the character’s expertise and leadership.
“Turbulence” is set to be released in theaters and on digital platforms on December 12.
