Miss United States 2024 Files Police Report Against Congressman
Lindsey Langston, who was recently crowned Miss United States 2024, has made serious allegations against her former boyfriend, Congressman Cory Mills from Florida. On July 14, Langston filed a police report in Columbia County, claiming that Mills threatened to release explicit images and videos of her following their breakup.
Langston, a 25-year-old Republican state committee member, stated that she had been in a relationship with Mills from November 2021 until February 2025. According to the police report, she alleges that Mills contacted her multiple times after their separation, threatening to expose private videos of them together.
A spokesperson for the local sheriff’s office confirmed that the report has been forwarded to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for further investigation. However, no comment has been made by the department yet.
In her account to the sheriff’s investigators, Langston shared that she and Mills began their relationship while he was technically still married, although he told her they were separated. They lived together in New Smyrna Beach, where Mills spent time between his home and Washington, D.C.
The turmoil escalated when Langston reportedly found news articles about Mills being involved in a physical confrontation with another woman. She later discovered the woman’s social media account, which included photos of her and Mills, prompting Langston to move back to her parents’ home.
Allegedly, Mills started sending threatening messages when he suspected Langston was dating others after their split. The police report includes claims that Mills threatened to harm any men Langston might pursue romantically.
The last message recorded between them was on June 12, where Mills told her, “I hope you hold your crown until the end.” Mills has denied the accusations, asserting that they are false and misrepresent his actions. He emphasized that he has acted with integrity in both his personal life and public service.
As of now, both Mills and Langston have not provided further comments regarding the situation.
