DiResta admits the EIP flagged around 4,800 URLs, including 2,890 tweets. She claims only a “few hundred” were removed. But even one censored tweet is a violation of free speech. This isn’t about numbers; it’s about principle.
The idea that this was some organic, grassroots effort is laughable. It’s clear the EIP was part of a larger, coordinated effort to silence dissenting voices. And, who benefits from silencing conservative voices?
Selective Reporting
DiResta claims that Siegel’s book relies on a “closed loop of sources.” She attacks the sources as if the information they present is wrong, but has she presented proof to the contrary?
She even complains about being mischaracterized as the “singular face” of mass censorship, saying she was on maternity leave for the first six weeks of the EIP. But her absence doesn’t change the fact that she’s a prominent figure in the censorship debate. The proof is there, no matter how much she protests.
