Vice President Vance Champions the Sanctity of Life at March for Life
Washington, D.C. – Vice President JD Vance addressed a crowd of pro-life advocates at the annual March for Life on Friday, encouraging them to celebrate the progress made in protecting unborn children. Vance highlighted the efforts of the previous administration, particularly the expansion of policies that prevent American tax dollars from funding organizations that promote abortion overseas.
Vance reminded the attendees that there is still much work to be done to foster a culture that values every human life. He emphasized the importance of strong families and a rising birth rate for the future of the nation.
“I want more babies in the United States of America,” Vance stated, echoing his previous remarks on the importance of family and future generations.
Vance also acknowledged the landmark Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade and returned the issue of abortion to the states. He credited the previous administration’s commitment to appointing judges who respect the Constitution for this victory.
Furthermore, Vance praised the expansion of the Mexico City Policy, ensuring that U.S. aid supports organizations that prioritize life and family values.
“We believe that every country in the world has the duty to protect life,” Vance affirmed, addressing a crowd holding signs with messages like “Choose Life” and “I am the Pro-Life Generation.” He emphasized the importance of promoting families and ensuring a bright future for the next generation.
The event also included a message of support from Pope Leo XIV, encouraging attendees, especially young people, to continue working towards the respect of life at all stages.
The March for Life, which began in response to the Roe v. Wade decision, has become a significant event for conservatives who advocate for the protection of unborn children.
