Chesnee High School celebrated another major victory this weekend, clinching the Class AAA state championship in competitive cheer. The event took place at Colonial Life Arena, marking Chesnee’s fifth championship win overall, with their last title secured in 2019. The Eagles previously placed second in 2022 and 2023.
In other competitive cheer highlights, several Upstate teams performed well in the state finals. Chapman ranked fourth with a score of 250 points, closely followed by Belton-Honea Path in fifth with 248 points, and Mountain View Prep in sixth with 204.5 points. Liberty secured eighth place with 199 points, while Powdersville finished eleventh with 191.5 points.
