Tyler Cameron recently shared his thoughts on his friend Matt James’s public announcement about his breakup with Rachael Kirkconnell. During an episode of The Viall Files podcast, Cameron mentioned that he believes James regrets the way he shared the news on Instagram back in January, which left Kirkconnell feeling blindsided.
Cameron, a well-known personality from The Bachelor series, was asked by host Nick Viall about how James is handling the split. He responded positively, saying James is doing well. However, he also noted that after the breakup announcement, he felt it was best for James to let the situation settle down.
James went public with the news by posting a prayer that expressed a desire for peace and healing after their four years together. Kirkconnell later revealed on a podcast that she was caught off guard by the announcement, especially since she was on a long flight when she first saw it.
Cameron added that both James and Kirkconnell needed to figure things out separately and reflected on how the breakup had become a topic of much public discussion. He emphasized that while he supports James, sometimes it’s best to just move on and let things fade away.
As the conversation continued, Cameron’s girlfriend, Tate Madden, chimed in, suggesting that decisions were made that might have been regrettable. Cameron agreed, pointing out that the breakup post was unusual and perhaps not the best approach.
Ultimately, while both men have faced challenges in the wake of the breakup, Cameron expressed unconditional support for his friend.
