Trump’s Middle East Visit Begins with Honorary Military Escorts
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — President Donald Trump’s visit to Qatar has kicked off with impressive displays of military respect. As he arrived in the region, both Saudi Arabia and Qatar welcomed him with fighter jet escorts, showcasing their ties and commitment to strong alliances.
Upon landing in Riyadh, Trump was honored with an escort of F-15 fighter jets from the Royal Saudi Air Force. This rare gesture highlights the close relationship between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, which has the world’s largest fleet of American-made F-15s outside the U.S.
The following day, as Trump flew into Doha, he again received a similar military honor. Margo Martin, a White House official, shared videos on social media illustrating these moments. After flying into Qatar, she expressed her excitement about the stunning view and noted how the Qatari pilots admired Air Force One while providing their escort.
This warm reception reflects the ongoing partnership between the United States and its Middle Eastern allies, aiming for stability and mutual interests in the region.
