At the premiere of “Melania,” a new film about the former First Lady, President Donald Trump shared some kind words about rapper Nicki Minaj. He described her as “fantastic” and a “terrific person,” noting her understanding of the Trump accounts and their mission to help young people become financially secure.
The film “Melania” follows Melania Trump as she prepares for a potential second term as First Lady ahead of the 2025 presidential inauguration.
President Trump also mentioned that Minaj has been a supporter from the beginning. This isn’t the first time the two have been seen together. They previously appeared at the U.S. Treasury Department’s Trump Accounts Summit, where Minaj reportedly called herself the president’s “number one fan.”
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson also commented on Minaj’s visit to the Oval Office, describing it as “pretty surreal” and saying that “she’s a lot of fun.”
Minaj has publicly supported President Trump, especially praising him for bringing attention to the persecution of Christians in Nigeria. She also expressed her excitement when the White House TikTok account used her song in a video featuring President Trump and Melania.
