First on the list is Stanley E. Woodward, Jr., designated as an assistant to the president and senior counselor. Woodward has a solid background in law, having co-founded Brand Woodward Law, LP, where he has represented high-profile clients in significant litigation cases. His prior experience includes working at a major law firm, defending international corporations against allegations related to the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Trump also announced the appointment of Robert Gabriel, Jr. as an assistant to the president for policy. Gabriel has been a part of Trump’s team since the 2015 campaign, starting as a policy advisor in Trump Tower. He has served in the West Wing throughout Trump’s first term as Special Assistant to the President.
Another key figure is Nicholas F. Luna, who will serve as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for strategic implementation. Luna’s responsibilities will include overseeing scheduling and managing external communications from the White House. Previously, he held various positions within the White House and is noted for his loyalty to the Trump administration.
Lastly, William “Beau” Harrison will step in as assistant to the president and deputy chief of staff for operations. Described by Trump as a trusted aide, Harrison has considerable experience in planning and executing presidential travel, including historical trips to North Korea and participation in significant summits.
