Trump Proposes Regime Change for Iran After U.S. Strikes
In a bold statement on Sunday, former President Donald Trump suggested that a change in leadership may be necessary for Iran if they cannot "MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN." His remarks followed a series of strategic U.S. airstrikes targeting crucial Iranian nuclear sites.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump questioned the absence of a leadership shift in Iran after these impactful strikes. He expressed his views, stating, "It’s not politically correct to use the term ‘Regime Change,’ but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change?" He reinforced his message with "MIGA!!!"
Earlier, Trump shared that the B-2 stealth bombers involved in the operation returned safely to Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. He thanked the pilots for their successful mission, emphasizing their skill in carrying out the strikes.
Trump described the damage inflicted on Iran’s nuclear facilities as "monumental." He addressed doubters of the operation’s success by noting that hits were precise and highly effective.
More than 125 aircraft participated in the operation, which targeted sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, involving various advanced military assets.
The former president’s comments and the recent military actions have reignited discussions on Iran’s leadership and its implications for the region, reinforcing his strong stance on national security and foreign policy.
