President Trump Takes a Firm Stance on Protecting Federal Property
Washington D.C. – President Trump announced on Saturday that the federal government will prioritize the protection of federal property amidst ongoing demonstrations and unrest. He stated that while the government is ready to assist cities facing challenges, such assistance will only be provided upon request.
In a statement, President Trump emphasized that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol have been instructed to be “very forceful” in protecting federal buildings and property. He made it clear that violence and destruction will not be tolerated.
“We will guard, and very powerfully so, any and all Federal Buildings that are being attacked,” the President declared. He also issued a warning against attacking law enforcement officers or damaging government vehicles, stating that such actions will be met with serious consequences.
President Trump urged local governments to take responsibility for protecting their own state and local property. He noted that if local authorities are unable to manage unrest, the federal government stands ready to step in and restore order, as it has done in the past.
The President concluded by reaffirming his commitment to border control, national security, and law and order. “That’s what America wants, and that’s what America is getting!” he stated.
