In a shocking incident, authorities in Florida have arrested a tour guide linked to the tragic death of a woman whose body was found in a closet at a resort, where guests unknowingly shared a room with her for a night.
The victim, Nadyne Marie Tillman, aged 43, was discovered brutally beaten inside a room at the Amoray Dive Resort in Key Largo on April 8, as reported by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Later that same day, 33-year-old Dylan Lamb, a kayak tour guide, was taken into custody on murder charges related to Tillman’s death.
Police were alerted to a potential missing person case after a family member reported they had not heard from Tillman since Saturday morning, which was unusual for her.
Investigations revealed that Tillman and Lamb had met earlier that Saturday at the resort where Lamb was staying. Her body was located in the room he had rented.
Lamb checked into the resort on Friday but reportedly refused to leave when hotel staff asked him to change rooms to accommodate new guests. After he checked out on Sunday, cleaning staff found bloodstained sheets stuffed into large yard waste bags, though they did not alert the authorities at that time.
The situation grew even more unsettling as new guests unknowingly spent at least one night in the room with Tillman’s body hidden within the crawl space of the air-conditioning closet.
The Amoray Dive Resort has chosen not to comment on the situation.
Lamb now faces serious charges including second-degree murder, kidnapping, destruction of evidence, and procuring someone for prostitution. It remains unclear if he has secured legal representation. His arraignment is set for next week.
