Shooting Incident at Myrtle Beach Restaurant Leaves One Dead
A shooting at the popular Peaches Corner restaurant in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has left one person dead and another arrested. This tragic event occurred on June 27, according to local authorities.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department reported that the incident involved an employee and another individual who were involved in an altercation inside the restaurant. However, the identities of those involved have not been released.
The shooting took place shortly before midnight and resulted in two people suffering gunshot wounds. One individual tragically succumbed to their injuries, while the other was taken to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
After the incident, police took one person into custody, but they have not confirmed whether this individual was the shooter or how the altercation began.
Peaches Corner, a well-known diner on Ocean Boulevard, has been serving customers since the late 1930s. The restaurant is famous for its classic diner fare, including hot dogs, burgers, fries, and milkshakes, and operates daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
