A body found in a Tesla in Los Angeles has been identified as that of a missing 15-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas. The car was reportedly linked to singer d4vd.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the identity. Rivas’s death date is listed as September 8th, but the cause of death is still under investigation.
Last year, Rivas was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, California. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that she is the missing juvenile.
Police officers discovered the body on September 8th after receiving reports of a strange smell coming from the car. The body was found in the front trunk of the Tesla, wrapped in a bag. The car was found abandoned in Hollywood Hills for about a month.
The car is registered to David Anthony Burke, also known as d4vd. D4vd is currently on tour, but his representative says he is working with the police.
The police are investigating the case as a homicide. No suspects have been named, and no charges have been filed. The police have not shared any information about whether Rivas and d4vd knew each other.
