A 17-year-old boy from Wisconsin, Nikita Casap, is facing nine serious criminal charges, including homicide, after the tragic deaths of his stepfather and mother. An unsealed search warrant reveals that he allegedly wrote a document calling for the assassination of the President of the United States.
Casap was arrested on February 28 after authorities discovered his parents dead in their home in Waukesha. Shortly after, he was found driving his stepfather’s car, which raised suspicions. The couple, identified as Donald Mayer, 51, and Tatiana Casap, were discovered during a welfare check.
Currently, Casap is facing multiple felony charges, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and charges related to concealing a corpse. Recent reports have disclosed troubling details about a purported plan to assassinate President Trump as part of a broader scheme to disrupt the government.
According to the search warrant, investigators uncovered information on Casap’s phone that linked him to extremist views, including connections to a group known for neo-Nazi beliefs. Among the documents reviewed, authorities found a “manifesto” expressing intentions to kill the President to incite political chaos.
The warrant also indicates that Casap had researched using a drone for attacks. A classmate reported that he had talked about his desire to kill his parents and planned to acquire a gun for this purpose. Additionally, he mentioned communicating with someone in Russia about overthrowing the U.S. government.
Investigators are looking into potential federal charges involving presidential assassination and conspiracy. Casap is currently being held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
