A teacher from Kentucky, 27-year-old Elena Bardin, is facing serious accusations after allegedly soliciting a minor to kill her husband. She was taken into custody following an investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
The investigation began after a routine search at the Adair Juvenile Detention Center uncovered letters and explicit materials believed to have been sent to the juvenile by Bardin, who worked at the facility.
Authorities say Bardin not only encouraged the boy to harm her husband but also engaged in illegal sexual contact with him and shared sexually explicit images of herself.
Bardin was arrested on Wednesday and is currently held at the Adair County Detention Center. She faces multiple charges, including solicitation to commit murder, first-degree sexual abuse, and distributing obscene material to a minor.
Fortunately, there are no reports that any harm has come to her husband as a result of the alleged solicitation. The investigation continues, and the juvenile has not been charged with any crime.
As of now, Bardin has not secured legal representation, and there is no scheduled date for her initial court hearing.
