Kiefer Sutherland, the actor known to many, found himself in trouble with the law again. He was arrested after an incident involving a rideshare driver in Los Angeles.
Police reports say the 59-year-old was arrested on Monday and later released after posting $50,000 bail. He’s expected to appear in court soon to address the charges.
Law enforcement officials stated that they received a call about an assault. Upon arrival, they determined that Sutherland allegedly attacked the rideshare driver and made threats. Thankfully, the driver wasn’t seriously hurt. The police arrested Sutherland at the scene for making criminal threats, and the investigation is still ongoing.
This isn’t the first time Sutherland has faced legal issues. Back in 2009, he was accused of hitting a fashion designer. However, those charges were eventually dropped after both parties came to an agreement.
It raises questions about personal responsibility and the choices people make, regardless of their fame or fortune. Everyone, including those in the public eye, should be held accountable for their actions.
