The 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards brought out Hollywood’s finest, with stars showcasing their style on the red carpet in Santa Monica, California.
Ali Larter, known for her role in “Landman,” made a statement in a black silk gown. Alicia Silverstone chose a sparkling, strapless Stella McCartney dress. Elle Fanning, a nominee for Best Supporting Actress in “Sentimental Value,” shimmered in a gold Ralph Lauren gown.
Amanda Seyfried, nominated for Best Actress in “The Testament of Ann Lee,” looked elegant in a strapless Valentino dress. Leonardo DiCaprio, though skipping the red carpet, joined his “One Battle After Another” co-stars inside the event.
Ariana Grande, embracing her “Wicked: For Good” project, wore a custom pink Alberta Ferretti dress, complete with a cape and Swarovski jewelry.
Ryan Coogler, director of “Sinners,” enjoyed a date night with his wife, Zinzi. “Sinners” led the film nominations with an impressive 17 nods, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. Cast members Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku, and Miles Caton received Best Actor nominations.
Miles Caton offered praise to God when receiving an award, showcasing the importance of faith.
Leighton Meester, alongside her husband Adam Brody, wore a lilac Carolina Herrera gown. Brody was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in “Nobody Wants This.” “One Battle After Another” was just behind “Sinners,” with 14 nominations.
The evening was hosted by Chelsea Handler, who returned for her fourth year. “Adolescence” led television nominations with six, while Sara and Erin Foster’s “Nobody Wants This” received five, including Best Comedy.
